Exclusive interview.- EGT Digital is approaching SiGMA World with a comprehensive showcase spanning casino content, Sportsbook technology, game aggregation and its modular X-Nave platform. With three stands at the exhibition, the company aims to demonstrate how its solutions can support different operator requirements, from individual content integrations to complete online and retail gaming operations, while strengthening its commercial relationships across Europe, Latin America and Africa.

In this exclusive interview with Focus Gaming News, Tsvetomira Drumeva, head of sales at EGT Digital, discusses the company’s expectations for SiGMA World and the latest developments across its product ecosystem. She also examines the regulatory uncertainty surrounding Brazil’s online betting market, the significance of EGT Digital’s recent industry awards and the opportunities driving its international expansion. Looking ahead, Drumeva outlines the company’s priorities for the coming months, from new integrations and product development to building lasting partnerships in regulated markets.

What does EGT Digital expect from SiGMA World?

We see SiGMA World as an opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and start new commercial conversations with operators from a wide range of markets. Having our full portfolio represented across three stands allows us to explore those opportunities in practical terms – from adding new casino content to selecting technology for a complete operation.

We also want to hear directly from operators about their priorities for the year ahead. Those discussions help us understand where our products can bring the most value and how we can develop our cooperation further.

Are you planning to present new igaming solutions at the expo? What will be the company’s main highlights at its stand?

Our casino showcase will be led by Shield Wall Set Sail, Rabbit Ventura and Ozmo’s Riches. Their expanding Wilds, coin-based bonuses and transforming Wilds, respectively, bring fresh feature combinations to our in-house developed portfolio. Visitors will be able to explore the games firsthand and discuss their suitability for different audiences.

Our Sportsbook presentation will include Bet Builder, Player Props, Early Payouts and Progressive Jackpot Sport, alongside operator tools such as Adjustable Margins. We will demonstrate how these features support a broader betting offering and give operators greater control over it.

The Gaming Aggregator provides access to more than 20,000 titles from over 200 providers through a single integration, supported by tools such as Casino-as-a-Widget and Client Hub for content deployment and management.

Connecting the showcase is X-Nave, our modular platform bringing together Sportsbook, Gaming Aggregator, CRM Engine and Payment Gateway. Operators can choose a turnkey solution or standalone modules, with support across online and retail channels. Our team will be available at stands H6-6050, H6-6051 and H6-6052 to discuss the configuration that fits each business.

LatAm is one of the company’s priorities in terms of expansion. How do you see the situation in Brazil after President Lula decided to ban online betting less than two years after the regulated market was launched?

The developments in Brazil create considerable uncertainty for operators and suppliers that have invested in the regulated market. Protecting consumers is essential, and we believe that a clear, predictable regulatory framework is fundamental to achieving that goal.

We are following the situation closely, and our decisions will remain guided by the applicable requirements. Latin America continues to be an important region for EGT Digital, but it is not a single market. Our approach takes account of the regulatory environment, operator needs and player preferences in each country.

EGT Digital received various prizes this year, including an award for CEO Vladimir Dokov as Leader of the Year at SBC Awards. What do these recognitions mean to the company?

These recognitions acknowledge different aspects of our progress – the quality of our games, the development of our technology and the strategic direction of the business. Vladimir Dokov’s Leader of the Year award is a particularly significant recognition of the leadership behind EGT Digital’s growth.

For us, awards also raise expectations. They bring greater visibility, but maintaining that credibility depends on what we deliver to our partners every day. From a sales perspective, the strongest endorsement is an operator choosing to expand its cooperation with us after seeing how our products and support work in practice.

Which markets currently offer the greatest growth opportunities?

Latin America and Africa remain important areas of opportunity. Both encompass very different markets, so success depends on understanding local conditions and offering relevant content, suitable technology and reliable support.

In Europe, Italy, Spain and Portugal, alongside the Baltics and Nordics, are also important to our growth plans. Each requires a tailored approach, and the breadth of our portfolio gives us several ways to develop partnerships – through casino content, aggregation, Sportsbook or a complete platform solution.

We assess growth potential alongside regulatory clarity and our ability to support each market effectively. Entering a market is only the beginning; the objective is to build lasting commercial relationships there.

What are the company’s main objectives for the next few months?

Our immediate focus is to turn the conversations from the exhibition season into concrete projects – progressing integrations, supporting launches and expanding cooperation with existing partners.

Product development will continue across our casino portfolio, Sportsbook, Gaming Aggregator and X-Nave platform. We are focused on giving operators more relevant content, more flexibility in how they configure their offering and practical tools to manage it.

Commercially, our objective is to grow both our market presence and the scope of our partnerships. That means identifying where another part of our portfolio can address an existing partner’s needs, while building new relationships in markets where we can provide lasting value.
