Dunder confirms imminent UK exit
The Malta-based online casino operator will leave the UK market by the end of the month.
UK.- Dunder has confirmed it will bale out from the UK online gambling market by the end of October.
Operated by Malta-based gaming group MT SecureTrade, the online casino has sent an email to players saying that it will begin a phased close down of its UK operations, which will cease completely by the end of the month.
Dunder launched its UK operation in 2018, aiming to take on the British market after its success in Scandinavia.
It is no longer accepting player registrations or deposits from the UK and will aim to close all advertising inventory with media and affiliates by October 15.
To enable players to make withdrawals more easily, it has lowered the threshold for UK customer withdrawals to £3.
All UK logins, withdrawals and other engagements will be disabled from October 30.
The British regulator, the Gambling Commission, has recently published new rules for igaming operators on how they engage with VIP customers.
