DraftKings opens Las Vegas office
DraftKings has announced the opening of a new office in Las Vegas, with the Boston headquarters serving as inspiration for the new space.
US.- DraftKings is continuing with its rapid growth, this time by opening a new, near-300 employee office in Las Vegas. While the headquarters remain in Boston, they serve as inspiration for the new space.
The sports betting and DFS company revealed that since October 2018, it has seen a 40% increase in its company headcount. DraftKings also recently announced a 20,000-square-foot expansion of its Boston global headquarters.
“From our humble origins less than a decade ago, out of a Massachusetts spare bedroom, it is both thrilling and surreal to now have Las Vegas join DraftKings’ team of offices,” said Matt Kalish, co-founder and president, DraftKings North America. “This new space further exemplifies our continued investment in the success of our company and employees as we establish our technological prowess within one of the world’s top entertainment destinations.”
The new Las Vegas location will house teams dedicated to customer experience, fraud, casino, sportsbook traders, HR and IT among others.
DraftKings also recently announced the company will be going public and has entered into a business combination agreement with Diamond Eagle Acquisition Company and SBTech.
