Delaware Lottery’s figures for 2015-16 NFL season
Even though the reported sales grew enough to break a state record, the numbers are far from matching the spectacular two digits growth trend shown in recent years.
US.- The Delaware Sports Lottery reported sales of US$39.4m for the 2015-16 NFL season. This amount comes from the state’s 102 retail wagering points of sale and its three racinos’s sportsbooks and shows a growth of 4 percent in comparison with the previous year.
As the Lottery Director Vernon Kirk put it, the Delaware Sports Lottery may be “close to finding our ceiling,” although he also suggested that the SB183 legislation introduced by state Sen. Brian Bushweller may have a boosting effect. The bill would allow Delaware’s online gambling operators to offer parlay wagers through desktop and mobile devices.
