US.- According to a report submitted to the New York State Gaming Commission, more than US$36 million were spent during the first six days of del Lago Resort & Casino. The US$440 million facility located in Tyre is one of the four upcoming facilities planned for upstate New York.
The Auburn Citizen notified that the facility that opened its doors on February 2, reported almost US$33 million in slot machines, whilst US$3 million were spent in del Lago’s 77 table games. Approximately US$300.000 of gross revenue came from the table games. The casino features more than 2000 slot machines and 12 poker tables among other things. Furthermore, the facility offers six restaurants and a 200-room hotel, and a spa.
Jeff Babinski, the casino’s general manager, said that he expects del Lago Resort and Casino to be a convention business destination as well. “I expect that we’ll see a handful of businesses who are in Rochester, Syracuse and in the Finger Lakes region who definitely will want to use our facility to host their colleagues and have events,” he added.
