Cyprus to host its first gaming show
Cyprus Gaming Show will be hosted in the Republic of Cyprus on September 12-13 in Limassol.
Cyprus.- Eventus International announced the relocation of the first ever Cyprus Gaming Show, which will be hosted in the Republic of Cyprus and will take place on September 12-13 in Limassol. The National Betting Authority of the Republic of Cyprus fully endorses the event. Eventus International will be collaborating with the National Betting Authority to ensure support from the National Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission, the Director of the Government Lottery and all other related bodies.
Eventus International based their decision to move the event, and to collaborate with the National Betting Authority of Cyprus, on the following benefits: The Republic of Cyprus is strategically located near Europe and Africa. Furthermore it is also in close proximity to the fast growing Middle East region. The Republic of Cyprus offers significant promise and opportunity to investors from around the globe. An established gaming regulatory framework implemented and enforced by the Republic of Cyprus with many exciting new changes to take place in the near future.
Moving this conference was encouraged by the fact that the business and investment climate in Cyprus is growing. The laws regulating land based casinos is making provision for the establishment of a multi-purpose complex with gambling, accommodation and entertainment. The license was issued to the Melco-Hard Rock Consortium and was made possible only to a gambling establishment integrated with a hotel. Limassol, being the main tourist hub of the island was chosen as the obvious location for this integrated casino resort.

Particular attention will be given to specific legislative frameworks regulating the betting and other aspects of the gambling sector in Cyprus. Presentations at the event will also be delivered by various speakers from the US, UK and South Africa.
