Cyprus: casinos to reopen from July
Casinos will open in the final phase of the country’s Coronavirus recovery plans set for July 14.
Cyprus.- President Nicos Anastasiades has announced plans for the loosening of lockdown restrictions put in place in the country to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
However, under the plans casinos will not open until the last phase in mid-July.
The first phase will allow for construction projects to resume as well as retail stores not located inside shopping malls to reopen.
Hotels, shopping malls, and airports are scheduled to reopen on June 9 with casinos set to reopen in the final phase on July 14.
These dates however are dependent on Coronavirus cases continuing to decline.
