Crown Resorts got the approval for Sydney casino

NSW Planning Assessment Commission gave the green light to Crown Resorts’ new casino.

Australia.- Crown Resorts is now ready to begin the construction of its next casino in Barangaroo, an inner-city in Sydney, after the NSW Planning Assessment Commission approved the project. The major gaming operator in Australia will invest AUS$1.5 billion –US$1.1 billion– in the new venue.

Crown Resorts is planning to turn the Barangaroo casino into the second biggest after The Star casino. The luxury gaming building is expected to be opened by 2021. According to the last presented project, the casino will be set back some 30 metres from the harbour edge to improve pedestrian access.

The six-star Barangaroo casino will add a viewing platform at the top of the tower, as well as over 300 rooms, top-class restaurants and a conference centre. Crown operators believe that the major venue will attract VIP players from Macau and Asian markets.
