Coushatta Casino Resort starts accepting reservations for new tower hotel
The Legacy Tower is set to open on May 18.
US.- Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana has started accepting reservations for its new Legacy Tower, which will open on May 18. Tribal Chairman David Sickey, members of the Tribal Council, casino management, development partners, and local dignitaries will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 15.
The eight-storey hotel features 204 guest rooms and 100 luxury suites taking total capacity to 1,000 guest rooms. There’s also a seven-storey LED screen, a redesigned porte cochère and a new connecting lobby. It’s part of a multi-year transformation.
Coushatta Casino Resort has nearly 2,000 slot and table games plus live poker, bingo, and sports betting. The property has three hotels, entertainment and a golf course. The resort recently named Tanya Duhon as chief financial officer (CFO). She had served as interim CFO.
Nate Tanner, general manager of Coushatta Casino Resort, said: “This is one of the most significant expansions in the history of Coushatta. Legacy Tower allows us to grow, create jobs and deliver a higher-end experience while continuing to invest in the long-term future of the Coushatta Tribe.”
