Construction begins on new California casino
Construction work for the new Elk Valley Rancheria casino in Crescent city, northern California, has begun.
US.- The Elk Valley Rancheria has announced it has started construction work on its new casino in California.
The venue will be located near Highway 101 and Humoldt Road in Crescent City, in the northernmost area of the state.
It is expected to be ready to open by spring 2022.
“After many hurdles, the Tribe is seeing their vision come to life. This new location and property will allow the Tribe to sustain its operations for years to come,” said Matthew Dodd, general manager.
“The casino will give our local guests a brand-new venue to experience and provide exposure to gamers who may not have known we were here” said Tribal Vice-Chair and construction manager Rick Warner.
The venue will have slots, table games and bingo, and also offer a restaurant, coffee bar and an event center, among other amenities.
“With the concrete poured and the framework going up, our goal of opening the new casino in the spring of 2022 is in sight,” Warner forecast.
