Chester approves new AGC in former betting shop

Chester Council has granted permission for the former William Hill betting shop to be turned into an adult gaming centre.

UK.- Chester Council has given the go-ahead to Webbers Leisure to transform a former betting shop in the city in northern England into an adult gaming centre (AGC).

The change of use status application was submitted by Rhyl-based Webbers Leisure for an empty venue, which was formerly a betting shop run by William Hill.

The adult gaming centre must not open to customers outside the hours of 9am – 10pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 10pm on Sundays and bank holidays.

Webbers Leisure already operates three adult gaming centres in Rhyl, Caernarfon and Manchester.
