Century Casinos, Inc. inaugurates center in Warsaw
Century Casinos’ Polish subsidiary is inaugurating a gaming center at Hilton Hotel in Warsaw.
Poland.- The gaming brand Century Casinos, Inc. is upgrading its businesses in Warsaw through its subsidiary Casinos Poland Ltd. The company is moving from its current location, the global renowned skyscraper Centrum LIM (Hotel Marriot), to an exclusive gaming center at the local Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Centre in the second half of Q2 2017..
The Ministry of Finance the Ministry of Finance has already approved the measure, which would allow Century Casinos to operate a celebrated 17,000 square feet gaming floor. “We are excited about this new location and believe it has the potential to contribute significantly to Casinos Poland’s successful performance” Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co Chief Executive Officers of Century Casinos, revealed yesterday.
The company current operates a 3,000 square feet casino at the Hotel Marriot. However, operators decided to place its business at well-established new location. According to the official statement, “Casinos Poland`s main competitor in the Warsaw market used to operate its flagship casino there until their casino license expired in late 2016.” The company is now aiming at refurbishing the new venue with over 24 gaming tables and 70 slot machines.
Century Casinos, INC. holds a 66.6 percent ownership interest in Casinos Poland Ltd., the owner and operator of eight casinos in Poland and manages the operations of the casino at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino.
