Century Casinos has revealed that it has added more gaming floor at the Marriot Hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
Poland.- Casinos Poland, a subsidiary of Century Casinos in Poland, has debuted additional gaming floor at the Marriott Hotel in Warsaw. The company welcomed the public and staff to explore the 4,000 extra square feet of gaming floor on May 30.
The expanded gaming floor features 15 gaming tables and 20 slot machines, two VIP rooms as well as a bar and lounge area. The casino is now offering a total of 35 gaming tables and 70 slot machines on a total gaming floor of approximately 12,000 square feet, the company revealed.
“We are excited about the substantial increase in the gaming offer of our Polish flagship casino and believe it will further strengthen Casinos Poland’s successful performance,” Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Chief Executive Officers of Century Casinos, said.
The company also said that Poland generated 43% of the company’s total revenue and 28% of its EBITDA in its last quarterly results.
“Our Polish business was negatively impacted by licensing delays between 4Q17 and 3Q18,” Hoetzinger explained. “We’re glad that things are now back to normal in Poland and look forward to generating high EBITDA margins going forward. Already things are moving in the right direction. The EBITDA margin in 1Q was 12%, up from nine% in 4Q 2018.”
