Casinos in South California prepare to celebrate Independence Day
After a year without celebrations, casinos in South California prepare to celebrate July 4. Here’s a schedule of events.
US.- Casinos in South California have a tradition of celebrating Independence Day with colourful shows. Last year’s festivities were called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but this year the celebrations are back.
Like in Las Vegas, there will be a return to music and fireworks shows at casinos in the area.
South California casinos have scheduled the following activities:
Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage will host a fireworks display in its south parking lot from 9pm to 9.30pm on July 4. Parking opens at 7pm. Admission and parking are free.
Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs will have a DJ on the casino floor.
Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City will install a roller rink at Agave Caliente Terraza, a newly renamed 12,000-square-foot event centre adjacent to the casino’s Agave Caliente bar. Children of all ages will be welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. ($10 admission includes skating).
Harrah’s Resort Southern California will decorate its whole building with the colours of the US flag.
Para Casino Spa Resort, in northern San Diego County, will host music performances throughout the holiday weekend.
Pechanga Resort Casino will offer a fireworks display for about 20 minutes. Fireworks should be visible from many scenic spots in South Temecula, but spectators can also park in designated areas of the resort.
Spotlight 29 Casino will host a free event that will end with fireworks at 9pm on Saturday July 3.
Tortoise Rock Casino will host a free family-friendly event that ends with fireworks, from 5pm on Sunday, July 4th. Games and family-friendly activities can be enjoyed on the casino’s outdoor patio.
