Pascua Yaqui Tribe names new Arizona casino
The venue is expected to be completed by November 2026.
US.- The Pascua Yaqui Tribe has named its new property in Arizona as Casino Del Sol Vahi Taa’am. The venue on Grant Road is expected to be completed by November 2026.
The name will distinguish the venue from the flagship Casino Del Sol on Valencia Road. Vahi Taa’am translates to “Three Suns” in Yoeme, the language of the Pascua Yaqui people.

The 163,000-square-foot development, which broke ground in January, will feature a 52,334-square-foot gaming floor and dining options. In June, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe held a beam-signing ceremony to mark the completion of the building’s structural framework.
Amanda Lomayesva, interim CEO of Casino Del Sol, said: “Choosing Vahi Taa’am reflects the culture, language, and vision of the tribe. It symbolizes light and speaks to a bright future for our team members, guests, and the greater Tucson community.”
