Casigrangi clinches majority stake in French casino group SFC
The subsidiary of Groupe Philippe Ginestet will own over 75 per cent of the firm, which has casinos in Gruissan, Châtel-Guyon, Port la Nouvelle and Collioure.
France.- Casigrangi, a subsidiary of Groupe Philippe Ginestet, has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Société Française de Casinos (SFC).
The operation, announced in early November 2020, has now received the green light from the Ministry of Interior.
Casigrangi will own 75.07 per cent of the firm, which owns casinos in Gruissan, Châtel-Guyon, Port la Nouvelle and Collioure.
It acquired shares held by Foch Investissements, Verneuil Finance and Framéliris.
Changes have been made to SFC’s board of directors to reflect the new shareholder structure. Dominique Gortari has been appointed chairman and chief executive officer. Members on the board include Isabelle Bellino, Agnès Courtade, Julie Humbert and Alban Duchène.
The group recorded turnover of €7.4m in the first quarter of 2020, down as a result of lockdown measures. SFC’s casinos reopened on June 2, 2020.
