Caesars launches sports betting ops in NJ
Baily’s started taking bets on sports on Monday, while Harrah’s AC will launch its operations tomorrow.
US.- Caesars Entertainment has revealed that it will start its sports betting operations in New Jersey this week: Baily’s started accepting bets on Monday and Harrah’s Atlantic City will launch its services on Wednesday.
The Caesars facilities are among the first to launch its services in New Jersey after the sports betting industry was legalised last month. Borgata, the biggest online operator in New Jersey, along with Ocean Resorts, are already offering the possibility of bets on sports.
Caesars revealed that it will work along with Scientific Games in the New Jersey facilities, and will plan the OpenBet sportsbook technology to provide a digital service through mobile. With the new launch, the company will be ready to accept bets for the NFL season, which starts in early September.
Mark Frissora, president and chief executive of Caesars Entertainment, said: “The recent Supreme Court ruling allows us to expand our sports betting digital and mobile offerings into new markets. We recognise that our customers expect exciting new experiences, which is why we will continue to offer new products through our mobile and digital platforms and inside our properties.”
