Local press reported in the last few days that sports betting in Brazil is moving forward. It is believed that the Chamber of Deputies has already started changing regulations. Relevant authorities are believed to be part of the discussions.
In addition, it seems that the Ministry of Economy may choose to submit an amendment to a bill already pending in the National Congress. Thus, the draft sports betting legislation in Brazil would soon be defined.
