Brazil approves lottery price adjustment
In Thursday’s Official Gazette, the government of Brazil authorised the increase in the prices of the country’s lottery products.
Brazil.- According to the Official Gazette of Thursday Octobre 31, the SECAP.ME in Brazil authorised a price increase in lottery products. Therefore, as of this month, Caixa Econômica Federal is allowed to adjust betting prices.
The new values of simple bets on numerical prediction lotteries will be: Double Sena, Lotofácil, Lotomania will cost €0.55; Mega-Sena will cost €1 and QThe Brazilian SECAP.ME authorises the increase in the prices of Loterías Caixa.uina, €0.45. Sports forecasting modalities such as Loteca and Lotogol will start to cost €0.35. The specific forecast mode called Timemania will cost €0.70.
Moreover, Caixa will establish the maximum and minimum amounts of split bet odds (lottery jackpot). The adjustments, as reported, will be effective as of January 1, 2020.
November increases
From November, the prices of lotteries throughout Brazil will be readjusted. As revealed by Caixa Econômica Federal, the increase will take place from November 11. In addition, the start of Mega da Virada sales will be celebrated.
“We have very important news. When we met with the president in June, we had six proposals. We have already completed five of them. And today we have just accomplished the sixth, which is adjusting prices. This is very important, because not only do we recover last year’s losses, but it creates peace of mind about the future. Actually, we achieve predictability of income. In addition, for September we exceeded revenue expectations. That means a growth of more than 20%,” said Caixa Econômica Federal president Pedro Guimarães.
Guimarães also revealed that there will be a meeting between the representatives of the lottery in Brazil and the managers of Caixa. There, they will discuss solutions and problems with the lottery network. “In fact, in about a month, we will have the first event with more than 500 people. That is, 250 lotteries and 250 managers of Caixa Econômica Federal to talk with you, listen to you, discuss solutions and problems,” he concluded.
