Bragg welcomes OLG chair to board of directors

The former OLG chair has extensive experience in the Canadian market.

Canada.- Online gambling content supplier Bragg Gaming has appointed Postmedia Chair Paul Godfrey to its board of directors.

The former chair of Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp (OLG) will provide Bragg with guidance on the company’s expansion strategy in Canada.

Godfrey has extensive experience in the Canadian market, having served as publisher and chief executive of Toronto Sun Publishing. He also founded media conglomerate Postmedia in 2010 and remains as chairman.

He is also a chairman at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and sits on the board of directors at Canadian airline Cargojet.

Godfrey said: “I’m very excited to join the Bragg team; they’ve had an exceptional year in 2020 and are on track to becoming a leader in the world gaming space, so I’m happy to add my expertise to the mission.”

Bragg chief executive Adam Arviv said: “Paul’s extensive experience in the media, gaming and sports worlds will be invaluable as we move forward with our rapid growth plans.

“We’re extremely pleased to have him join the championship team that we’re building and look forward to his guidance.”
