Borgata’s new sportsbook to debut this week
The Atlantic City facility Borgata will debut its new Moneyline Book and Bar sportsbook on Friday.
US.- Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is ready to debut its new sportsbook to the public on Friday. The Moneyline Book and Bar sportsbook will become the last permanent sports betting facility built in the city.
MGM Resorts International, parent company of Borgata, invested US$12 million for the Moneyline Bar & Book. It is adjacent to the Level One Cocktail Bar & Lounge at the Atlantic City facility, Press of Atlantic City reported.
Marcus Glover, president and chief operating officer for Borgata, said: “Since Borgata arrived in the market more than 15 years ago, we have maintained a steadfast dedication to property growth and development, and we believe our new concepts confirm our position.”
The sportsbook features a 40-foot-wide by 11½-foot-tall LED video wall and 17 other screens around the 8,000-square-foot sportsbook. Moreover, the bar has 19 built-in video gaming terminals.
“We felt Borgata’s guests deserved something that would advance the market by bringing together sports, culinary, entertainment, gaming and nightlife into a destination experience they can enjoy seven nights a week,” Glover said.
