Black Oak Casino Resort in California to inaugurate expansion
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on May 15.
US.- Black Oak Casino Resort in California has announced the opening of its expansion project, which includes new hotel suites and a new lobby. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 11am on May 15.
The venue has added 48 new luxury suites, and the hotel is now fully connected to the casino. The casino is celebrating its 24th anniversary this month. There will be a fireworks show on May 16.
Kevin Day, chairman of the Tuolumne Me-Wuk Tribal Council, said: “It’s hard to believe that we are getting ready to celebrate 24 amazing years here at Black Oak Casino Resort. It’s been so rewarding to see how we’ve been able to grow with the community, and this new addition to The Hotel is just the latest step to continue that growth.”
Ty Day Jr., board chairmen of the Tuolumne Economic Development Authority board of directors, added: “Our crews have been working incredibly hard to add these new suites to The Hotel to provide our guests with the ultimate hospitality experience in Tuolumne County, and we are so excited to finally be able to share our vision with the public. Now, with a grand total of 196 spacious rooms, visitors and locals alike will have plenty of opportunities to bring their families and enjoy all the numerous entertainment options that are perfect for anyone looking to get away.”
North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians secures $725m for new resort in California
The North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians of California recently announced that it has closed on a financing agreement totalling nearly $725m. The proceeds will be used for the development of North Fork Mono Casino & Resort near Madera.
The delayed draw term loan facility was agreed between the North Fork Rancheria Economic Development Authority, a wholly owned entity, and a syndicate of lenders led by VICI Properties.
The North Fork Mono project will be developed and managed by affiliates of Red Rock Resorts. The casino and resort will have approximately 2,400 slot machines, 40 table games, two restaurants, three bars, a food hall, a small retail offering and parking. Pre-construction activity began in September 2024.
