Betsson hails solid revenue growth in Q3

Sweden.- Betsson AB has reported revenue of €295.8m for the third quarter, a rise of 6 per cent from the same period in 2024. The Stockholm-listed igaming group noted the strength of its geographic diversification with Italy and Latin America as key growth drivers amid the challenges posed by tax rises in some jurisdictions.
CEECA revenue was up by 2.6 per cent to €119.3m with Croatia and Greece performing well while Georgia and Estonia saw declines. Western Europe revenue was up by 27.3 per cent to €56.9m, led by Italy, where Betsson is to retain a significant presence following the issuance of new Italian gambling licences next month.
In the Nordics, revenue fell nearly 20 per cent to €36.4m while revenue from Latin America rose by 10.2 per cent to €76.5m led by casino gains.
For the first nine months of the year, revenue rose 12 per cent to €893.1m.
CEO Pontus Lindwall emphasised the company’s strategic strengths: “In the third quarter, revenue increased by 6 per cent and operating profit by 4 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year. With the customer in focus, Betsson continues to drive the digitalization of the gaming market globally.
“We continued to strengthen the customer experienc and launched new casino games and sportsbook features, such as early win payouts. I look forward with confidence to the end of the year and ahead to 2026 with the upcoming World Cup in football”.
