BetMGM poker championship to return to Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas

The event will be held from June 30 to July 4.

US.- BetMGM has announced that the BetMGM Poker Championship will return to Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, with the Aria Poker Classic from May 29 to July 13 and the summer series from June 30 to July 4.

Online qualifiers for the BetMGM Poker Championship run every Thursday and Sunday through June 22. More than 100 players from BetMGM Poker markets, including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, Canada, can win packages that include a $3,500 championship entry, a five-night stay at Aria and travel credit.

BetMGM reports rise in net revenue for 2024

BetMGM, the US joint venture owned by MGM Resorts International and Entain, has reported net revenue of $2.1bn for 2024. That’s a rise of 7 per cent year-on-year. Igaming generated a record $1.4bn, outperforming online sports and retail sports betting.

The company reported a drop in EBITDA, which fell from negative $62m to negative $244m. BetMGM said this was consistent with predictions as 2024 was earmarked as a year for investment.
