ATG set to restructure the company
ATG announced it will restructure the company and explained it will merge several departments to create a new commercial division.
Sweden.- AB Trav och Galopp (ATG) has announced a restructure of the company. The Swedish operator will merge several departments to create a new, single one.
The divisions involved are the sales, marketing and product and business development units. ATG will merge them into a single commercial unit, as part of the restructure the company is undergoing.
“The previous organisational structure has successfully piloted ATG into the new gaming market. Now, the next challenge awaits, to give our customers the very best gaming experience on every occasion and in all channels,” ATG chief executive Hasse Lord Skarplöth said. “Therefore, we optimise this work – from our brands and products to customer communication – in one and the same department.”
Current chief sales officer Katarina Widman will head up the new department as chief commercial officer. Furthermore, Sten Andersen will become a senior advisor to Widman.
As part of the ATG restructure, senior management changes at Danish subsidiary Ecosys will be enforced. Mikael Bäcke will no longer be chief product and business development officer and will turn into the new CEO of Ecosys. Henrik Friis will also change, from CEO role to chief operations officer.
“Ecosys is facing a very exciting journey,” Bäcke stated. “We have just launched the Derby25 brand, which is aimed at the Danish horse racing customers.
“Together with our other brands Bet25 and Rød25, we now have a competitive offer that I look forward to developing together with Henrik Friis and other employees at the head office in Silkborg.”
