Entitled Winning the Future Chinese Tourist & China Blacklist, it’s scheduled for Wednesday September 23 at 3pm HKT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The webinar will attempt to look into a crystal ball to see what is to come for Chinese tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the Chinese outbound market responsible for one out of eight international trips \u2013 a trend likely to continue in 2030 \u2013 organisers believe the opportunity the market offers remains as strong as ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The webinar will begin with a sit down with Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, founder and CEO of the Chinese Outbound Tourism Research Institute, who recently published research into what Chinese tourists will expect from overseas trips over the next ten years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After that, attendees will hear from VIP marketing expert Shirley Tam, SVP premium marketing at Okada Manila, about how the expectations of her customers have been changing over the last few years, and where she sees it going. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, Desmond Lam, professor in integrated resort and tourism management at the University of Macau, will discuss China’s recent announcement of a blacklist of gamling destinations and what it could mean for land-based operators in the Philippines, Macau, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and other Asian jurisdictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
