Australia.- Star Entertainment Group has filed a legal claim against Chubb Insurance in the Federal Court over losses incurred from lockdown measures during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operator argues that Covid-19 lockdown measures fall under “special risks”, including “risks of business interruption” covered in an insurance policy signed in November 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chubb has claimed the shutdown was not covered under the policy, and declined indemnity on May 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
