{"id":9796,"date":"2020-09-08T21:33:08","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T21:33:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=9796"},"modified":"2026-04-24T02:01:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T05:01:40","slug":"manilas-solaire-resort-casino-prepares-to-reopen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/manilas-solaire-resort-casino-prepares-to-reopen","title":{"rendered":"Manila&#8217;s Solaire Resort &amp; Casino prepares to reopen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The operator has drawn up a phased approach to comply with PAGCOR\u2019s 30 per cent capacity limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Philippines.-&nbsp;Solaire Resort &amp; Casino has published a protocol to reopen its Manila venue at 30 per cent capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operator says its protocol goes above and beyond the requirements of the Philippines health authorities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It plans to gradually expand capacity while&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;social distancing measures.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solaire has drawn up the measures after the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (<strong><em>PAGCOR<\/em><\/strong>) confirmed that some casinos in Manila had been <strong><em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/pagcor-confirms-reopening-of-some-manila-casinos\" target=\"_blank\">allowed to reopen at 30 per cent<\/a><\/em><\/strong> capacity on a trial basis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operator&nbsp;will&nbsp;accommodate&nbsp;gaming tables and slot machines on the gaming floor to allow social distancing.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will include custom-built safety shields for tables and slots to be rolled out in phases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solaire will also implement contactless payment options, disinfection chambers for guests and restaurant menus accessible by QR code.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Screens on the gaming floor will display a safety video to players, while staff will be instructed to assist patrons in complying with regulations.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Workers will also undergo&nbsp;rapid antibody and PCR testing.
