The city will remain on alert level 2.5, while the rest of the country remains on level 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a message in SkyCity Auckland\u2019s website, the casino was <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/skycity-to-reopen-auckland-casino-next-week\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">due to open this weekend<\/a><\/em><\/strong> under level of alert 2 for Gold, Platinum and VIP Black Premier Rewards members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reopening will now not be possible until at least September 14, when the government will revise restrictions again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as SkyCity, the extention of the measures also hit <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/nz-extends-auckland-lockdown-until-sunday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TAB NZ<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The country has recorded its first death due to Covid-19 in three months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":9702,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"New Zealand has extended its COVID-19 lockdown measures until mid-September following a recent death, directly impacting land-based gaming operations.
