The company said: \u201cMr Huy has extensive experience in gaming and casino management having been Vice President at the Casino at Star Vegas Casino & Resorts Co, and responsible for developing the model for the slot machine business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lee Bug Huy said he will work to bring the operators’ casinos back to full operations following the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201cWe will continue to execute our pragmatic cost control strategy while keeping the market updated with future developments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Huy will remain on the board as an executive director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Donaco has also appointed Andrew Phillips and Issaraya Intrapaiboon as additional independent non-executive directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has also appointed non-executive director Paul Porntat Amatavivadhana -founder and CEO of Bangkok-based corporate advisory firm Infinite Capital- as a non-executive chairman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Non-executive chairman Mel Ashton and non-executive director Simon Vertullo have resigned from the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Paul Porntat Amatavivadhana commented: \u201cWe are focusing on our strategy to move forward and build Donaco to its highest potential. I would also like to thank Mel and Simon for their efforts and contribution to Donaco, having both been dedicated board members providing counsel to senior management during the challenging times of Covid-19.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
