Macau.- A representative from Macau’s Judiciary Police has suggested that casinos could be required to suspend activities in the event that a case of novel coronavirus infection is detected on their premises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Lu\u00eds Leong, who spoke after a meeting of the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau with the city’s six casino operators, the confirmation of any case of Covid-19 at one of the casinos \u201cmight imply the closure of said venue, which could have a significant impact on the economy.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Leong said the city\u2019s gaming operators should follow government-issued guidelines to the letter for anyone entering gaming venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
