The group\u2019s chairman Tim McNally explained the main reason in an interview with GGRAsia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe current estimate for completion was towards the end of 2020. We had to transition to another construction company, so that delayed things,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also remarked on the difficulties they have to work in such an environment. \u201cIt\u2019s a very challenging environment at times to work in. Now winter sets in, so there\u2019s always a slowdown period. We will pick back up and be full speed ahead come springtime\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not the first time that the company has to change the deadline. In 2017, NagaCorp said it had some delays on that site because of an \u201carchaeological dig after some artefacts were found\u201d on the land. They said it would be finished in the first months of 2019, but finally, they extended it to summer 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naga Vladivostok is going to be a 592,000-square foot property in the Primorye Integrated Entertainment Zone (PRIE). It is expected to include a multi-purpose facility measuring 21,500 square feet and the second phase of the project, which includes a water park and outdoor pool, is meant to be completed sometime in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the big inversion that they are doing in Primorye, the group is going to spend \u20ac3.2 billion in <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/cambodia-naga-casino\">NagaCorp 3<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, a project three times larger than Naga 1 and Naga 2 combined that could be ready by 2025 in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;It\u2019s a very challenging environment at times to work in&#8221;, the group Charmain said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"is_press_release":false,"is_interview":false,"is_opinion":false,"focusai_summary":"NagaCorp Ltd is experiencing further operational delays for its Naga Vladivostok integrated resort in Russia's Primorye Integrated Entertainment Zone, primarily attributed to a construction contractor transition and challenging seasonal conditions.
