Macau.- Casino operator Wynn Macau has announced it will launch a charitable foundation. It says the Wynn Care Foundation has already been recognised by Macau’s government, with the project being published in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the city\u2019s casino have developed corporate social responsibility initiatives. Sands China, Galaxy Entertainment and SJM Holdings are indirectly related to other charities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new charity’s charter states that the Wynn Care Foundation is intended to \u201cpromote the prosperous and harmonious development\u201d of Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the information in the Official Gazette, the foundation will promote education projects among young people, and provide support to small- and medium-sized enterprises and young entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will foster volunteering, charitable and community activities, environment protection and sustainable development, and events related to sports, leisure or culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wynn Macau Ltd is funding the foundation with an initial MOP10-million (US$1.25 million) donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
