Philippines.- PH Resorts Group Holdings is planning an early opening of its Emerald Bay resort in Cebu city by the end of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chief Operating Officer Jose Angel Sueiro said the first phase of the resort will be completed in the second quarter of 2022 as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201cDespite the challenges of COVID19 we are diligently working on the completion of the first phase of Emerald Bay. Our team continues working to ensure to reduce project costs without sacrificing quality. Our focus is getting Emerald Bay to open on time without cutting corners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The management team is planning for an early opening by the end of 2021, which will initially feature 122 gaming tables for mass, premium mass and junkets; 600 EGMs and 270 hotel room bays.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When finished, Emerald Bay will have 146 gaming tables and 729 Electronic Gaming Machines as well as 780 hotel rooms and 5 villas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
