The company, a subsidiary of <strong><em>Paradise Entertainment Limited<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0 told Macau News Agency that they will deploy their new technology at overseas casinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The robot only possesses capabilities to distribute cards with no artificial intelligence (AI) functions yet. It appears in the Macau gambling scenario as a solution to the lack of casino workers problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Macau, legislation allows the employment of residents only for the position of casino dealer. As a result of this restriction there is a not enough experienced talent on the gaming floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLocal casinos lack manpower so we invented this machine in which we keep the fun of the game while avoiding the lack of manpower with this robot,\u201d LT Game QA engineer, Ross Zhang, told the newspaper at the opening day of the 2019 <strong><em>MGS Entertainment Show<\/em><\/strong> at The Venetian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group has already showed a prototype of a robot dealer in 2015. Now, the robot is in a testing period and under government licensing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf we introduce any AI (Artificial Intelligence) function into the machine we are raising an issue on whether the AI will influence the probabilities of the game.
