Australia.- The reopening of Crown Casino in Melbourne originally scheduled for July 20 will be put back as the state of Victoria determined a new six-week lockdown due to the recent rise in Covid-19 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After 191 new cases were reported this week, Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews said in a press conference that the lockdown will commence on Thursday at midnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Non-essential businesses will have to shut and people will only be allowed to circulate to buy supplies, study, work, exercise or get healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Crown Melbourne has been closed since March 23 although some food and beverages outlets have been allowed<\/a><\/em><\/strong> to operate.
