According to PAGCOR’s announcement on October 29, electronic gaming revenue saw the largest decline, falling 37.23 per cent to PHP27.63bn (US$433.5m) from PHP44.03bn (US$691.2m) a year earlier. The segment, which covers e-games, e-bingo and bingo grantees, remained its largest gaming revenue source.

Revenue from licensed casinos, the second-largest contributor to gaming revenue, decreased 3.22 per cent to PHP23.10bn (US$362.3m) from PHP23.87bn (US$374.4m). PAGCOR’s Casino Filipino branches generated PHP7.28bn (US$114.2m), down 8 per cent, while poker revenue declined 4.60 per cent to PHP105.86m (US$1.66m) from PHP110.97m (US$1.74m).

Overall revenue from gaming operations declined 23.44 per cent to PHP58.13bn (US$911.7m) from PHP75.93bn (US$1.19bn). Earnings from other related services fell 38.59 per cent to PHP3.04bn (US$47.7m), while other income remained relatively stable at PHP3.23bn (US$50.7m), compared with PHP3.20bn (US$50.2m) a year earlier.

PAGCOR’s net income dropped 84.85 per cent to PHP2.17bn (US$34.1m) from PHP14.32bn (US$224.7m) in the same period of 2025. The regulator partly attributed the decline to a Supreme Court ruling requiring it to remit 5 per cent of its gross revenue to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), which received PHP3.01bn (US$47.2m) from PAGCOR in the first nine months of 2026.

PAGCOR reported PHP45.28bn (US$710.1m) in contributions to government programmes and other statutory obligations during the first nine months of 2026. This included PHP27.61bn (US$433.0m) for the National Treasury, representing the government’s 50 per cent share, and PHP2.90bn (US$45.5m) in franchise taxes. A further PHP11.19bn (US$175.5m) went towards socio-civic projects, while cities hosting Casino Filipino branches received PHP511.95m (US$8.03m).

The regulator also reported PHP28.22m (US$442,600) in sports incentives for national athletes and their coaches who won international competitions, alongside PHP15.85m (US$248,700) in corporate income tax.

   See also:

See also: Genting Singapore reports 34% drop in H1 profit as gaming revenue declines

Lower earnings from electronic gaming weighed on the Philippine regulator’s financial results, while contributions to the National Treasury reached US$433m.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) reported a substantial 23.41% year-on-year decline in revenue to PHP64.41bn (US$1.01bn) and an 84.85% drop in net income for the first nine months of 2026.
