An investigation by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) found that on February 9, 2026, it accepted bets from an individual who had registered with BetStop earlier that same day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under national regulation, wagering companies are prohibited from offering services to anyone registered on the self-exclusion platform. Picklebet closed the account later that day.
