This measure aims to prevent perpetrators from simply shifting illegal funds to alternate accounts within the same or different banking institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking during a monthly board press conference, <strong>Dian Ediana Rae<\/strong>, Chief Executive of Banking Supervision at the <strong>OJK<\/strong>, announced that regulators have directed financial institutions to carry out Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) or block approximately <strong>38,796 suspicious accounts<\/strong>.
