GKL has posted casino sales of US$27.7m for the ninth month of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Korea.- Grand Korea Leisure (GKL)<\/strong> has shared its financial results for September. Casino sales were KRW37.3bn (US$27.7m), up 7.2 per cent in year-on-year terms and up 19.8 per cent from August<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table-game revenue was KRW34bn (US$25.3m), up 8.4 per cent from September 2025. Machine game sales were KRW3.27bn (US$2.43m), down 4.5 per cent year-on-year. The casino drop was down 5.2 per cent from August but up 2.4 per cent from a year earlier at KRW323.7bn (US$323.7m). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first nine months of the year<\/strong>, Grand Korea Leisure reported casino sales of KRW337.2bn (US$250m), up 5.8 per cent compared to the January-September period of 2025. Casino drop for the nine-month period increased 9.5 per cent, to nearly KRW2.97 trillion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GKL operates three foreigner-only casinos<\/strong> under the Seven Luck brand: two in the capital, Seoul (including one in Gangnam) and the other in the southeastern port city of Busan. It operates as a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. Recently, the company announced a plan<\/a> to generate casino revenue of KRW503.8bn (US$333.8m) by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
