According to the International Betting Integrity Association\u2019s 2025 Sports Betting Integrity Report, based on H2 Gambling Capital data, total GGR across Africa<\/strong> is projected to grow from US$3.5bn in 2021 to US$19.4bn by 2030, with online betting expected to reach US$16.4bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market is already highly digital. GeoPoll\u2019s 2026 research across Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda found that 95 per cent of bettors place their bets via mobile devices<\/strong>, while 67 per cent primarily bet on football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
