Australia.- ASX-listed casino gaming developer Light & Wonder<\/strong> has appointed Muthu Palanichamy<\/strong> as senior vice president and general manager of its Global Systems business, following a 16-year career with the gaming technology supplier. Palanichamy took up the role in August and has already overseen nine competitive systems replacements, including deployments at several casino properties in North America<\/strong>, the company said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n His responsibilities cover the Systems business\u2019s product roadmap, research and development, delivery and operations and customer engagement. He will also oversee the global product strategy for Light & Wonder\u2019s Systems portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Palanichamy joined Scientific Games in October 2010 as director of technical services before taking on leadership positions across client services, operations and systems research and development. He became Light & Wonder\u2019s vice president of global customer engagement in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Siobhan Lane<\/strong>, chief executive officer of gaming at Light & Wonder, said Palanichamy\u2019s technical knowledge, operational experience and familiarity with customers made him well suited to lead the Systems business. She added that his 16 years with the company had included a significant role in developing the division and building relationships with employees and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n
