The Vietnamese tourism company’w accumulated losses reached $238.4m by June 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Vietnam.- Phu Quoc Tourism Development and Investment JSC<\/strong>, the parent company of Corona Resort & Casino Phu Quoc<\/strong>, has reported that its liabilities climbed by almost VND11tn to VND51.67tn (US$1.99bn) in H1. Meanwhile its registered capital rose from VND7.5tn (US$288.9m) to VND10tn (US$385.1m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The figures were disclosed in the company\u2019s semi-annual financial statement submitted to the Hanoi Stock Exchange. Liabilities include VND7.48tn (US$288.1m) in outstanding bonds and roughly VND283bn (US$10.9m) in bank borrowings. The bulk of its liabilities was classified under other liabilities, which include customer advances and short- and long-term payables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company ended June with shareholders\u2019 equity of about VND3.81tn (US$146.7m), while accumulated losses reached VND6.19tn (US$238.4m). The after-tax loss was VND211.4bn (US$8.1m), 62.5 per cent lower than in the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result follows a loss of VND918bn (US$35.4m) for the full year in 2025. Established in 2014, the company operates tourism, hospitality and entertainment assets on Phu Quoc Island,<\/strong> including resorts, hotels, real estate and leisure facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n
