Macau.- Wynn Macau has lowered the conversion price of its US$600m 4.50 per cent convertible bonds due 2029 after declaring an interim dividend of HK$0.223 per share. The new conversion price is set at HK$8.67530 (US$1.10) per share, compared with HK$9.02275 (US$1.15) previously. According to a September 15filing, it became effective on September 16, immediately after the September 15 record date for the interim dividend.

Wynn Macau said the adjustment follows the terms of the bonds, which require the conversion price to change when the company pays a dividend to shareholders. Wynn Macau had 5,300,947,600 shares in issue as of the filing date. At the revised conversion price, the bonds could be exchanged for approximately 542.9 million shares, equivalent to about 10.2 per cent of Wynn Macau’s current issued share capital.

The convertible bonds were issued in 2023 and are due to mature in 2029. Wynn Macau previously revised the conversion price on four occasions, in September 2024, June 2025, September 2025 and June 2026. If all the bonds were converted, the resulting shares would represent approximately 9.3 per cent of the enlarged share capital, assuming no other changes to the company’s issued shares.
