That\u2019s a decrease of 1.2 per cent in year-on-year terms but a rise of 8.1 per cent compared to <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-drops-8-4-year-over-year-in-july\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-drops-8-4-year-over-year-in-july\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">July\u2019s MOP20.26bn<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cumulatively, Macau\u2019s GGR for the <strong>first eight months of 2026<\/strong> was MOP169.05bn (US$20.95bn), up 3.7 per cent year-on-year. The figure remains 14.7 per cent below pre-pandemic levels in 2019, when GGR totalled MOP24.26bn (US$3bn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citigroup\u2019s latest monthly casino table survey noted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-premium-mass-spending-rises-despite-fewer-players-citi-says\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">premium-mass segment<\/a> in Macau continued to show resilience in August.
