The Malaysia-listed gaming equipment supplier saw second-quarter revenue rise by 15.5 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Malaysia.- RGB International<\/strong> has reported a decline in second-quarter profit despite higher sales. Revenue for the three months ended June 30 increased 15.5 per cent year-on-year to MYR109.6m (US$27.2m), while profit attributable to shareholders fell 26.3 per cent to MYR10.3m (US$2.6m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company\u2019s EBITDA declined 21.4 per cent to MYR14.1m (US$3.5m), while pre-tax profit fell 26 per cent to MYR11.9m (US$3m). Gross profit decreased 10 per cent to MYR23.7m (US$5.9m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RGB\u2019s Sales and Marketing division, its largest business segment, generated MYR93.1m (US$23.1m) in revenue, up 20.1 per cent year-on-year, mainly due to a higher number of products sold<\/strong>. However, the division\u2019s pre-tax profit dropped 21.1 per cent to MYR12.0m (US$3.0m). RGB attributed the decline primarily to a \u201cvariation in product mix<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first half of 2026, group revenue increased 16.9 per cent to MYR197.0m (US$48.9m), while profit attributable to shareholders fell 26.5 per cent to MYR19.4m (US$4.8m). EBITDA declined 19 per cent to MYR26.6m (US$6.6m). RGB said it remained \u201ccautiously optimistic<\/strong>\u201d about its full-year prospects, while warning that regulatory developments, macroeconomic conditions, consumer spending and tourism trends could affect gaming activity across its main markets.<\/p>\n\n\n
