The Hong Kong-listed gaming technology group expects a loss due to the end of its Macau casino management business and a sharp decline in LMG equipment sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Hong Kong.- Paradise Entertainment expects to report a net loss of HKD82.6m (US$10.5m) for the first half of 2026, compared with a profit of HKD177.8m (US$22.8m) a year earlier. The company said the forecast is mainly due to the end of its casino management business in Macau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the closure of Casino Kam Pek Paradise in December 2025<\/a>, Paradise Entertainment saw no casino management revenue in the first half, compared with HKD382.6m (US$49.1m) in the same period of 2025. The group also reported a 74.2 per cent decline in revenue from the sale and leasing of electronic gaming equipment and systems, down HKD93.1m (US$11.9m). The decrease was mainly linked to lower sales of live multi-game (LMG) terminals and systems in Macau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Entertainment said some customers may have delayed purchases ahead of the planned launch of its next-generation LMG platform, Black Coral, scheduled for the second half of 2026 or early 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company expects to publish its unaudited first-half results by the end of August.<\/p>\n\n\n
