The Philippines.- Alliance Global Group\u2019s gaming and tourism subsidiary, Travellers International Hotel Group,<\/strong> has reported stronger gaming results in the first half of 2026. Attributable net income nearly doubled year-on-year to \u20b1568m (US$9.2m), while EBITDA increased 13 per cent to \u20b14.4bn (US$71.3m). Net revenue reached \u20b115.2bn (US$246.1m) during the six-month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-VIP gross gaming revenue rose 6 per cent to \u20b19.6bn (US$155.5m). The expansion of digital gaming helped offset lower revenue from VIP play. Non-gaming revenue increased 12 per cent to \u20b13.9bn (US$63.2m), driven by higher hotel room rates and food and beverage sales at Newport World Resorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alliance Global president and CEO Kevin Tan<\/strong> said the shift in revenue mix to non-VIP gaming and non-gaming operations showed the strength of the group\u2019s diversified earnings base, noting that \u201cour gaming business grew earnings even as the industry moved away from VIP play.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results helped drive Alliance Global Group\u2019s first-half performance, with net income reaching \u20b116.0bn (US$259.2m), up 3 per cent from \u20b115.6bn (US$252.8m) a year earlier, excluding one-time gains from the 2025 deconsolidation of Golden Arches Development Corp.<\/p>\n\n\n
