Strong performance at Wynn Palace helped offset a decline in VIP gaming volumes across its two integrated resorts.

Macau remained the company’s strongest-performing region during the quarter. Combined adjusted property EBITDAR rose 17.1 per cent to US$297m, representing a margin of 29.6 per cent.

Wynn Palace remained the main growth driver, with the Cotai resort generating operating revenue of US$653.4m, up 21.1 per cent from a year earlier. Adjusted property EBITDAR climbed 28.2 per cent to US$201.5m. A stronger mass-market drop, up 3 per cent to US$1.90bn, compensated for a 32 per cent fall in VIP turnover (US$2.77bn).

At Wynn Macau, operating revenue was up 2.1 per cent to US$351.1m, although adjusted property EBITDAR slipped 1 per cent to US$95.5m. The mass table drop increased 8.3 per cent to US$1.75bn, while slot win advanced 38.6 per cent to US$34.9m. VIP turnover declined 56.4 per cent to US$428.1m, and VIP win dropped 67 per cent.

Across both Macau properties, combined mass table drop grew 5.5 per cent, while VIP turnover fell 36.8 per cent year-on-year. Operating expenses excluding gaming tax rose 9 per cent to about US$2.9m per day, reflecting continued investment in premium customer offerings.

Speaking during the earnings call, chief executive Craig Billings said the company remained focused on the premium mass segment, which continues to outperform. He noted that VIP volumes were affected by the FIFA World Cup and seasonal trading patterns during the quarter but that gaming activity improved in the second half of July and early August.

Looking ahead, Wynn Resorts said it will begin construction in the coming weeks on a new event centre and theatre at Wynn Palace. Work on the planned 432-suite Enclave Hotel Tower is expected to start before the end of the year, with the property scheduled to open in 2029. The company plans to invest between US$350m and US$400m in expansion projects during 2026.

   See also:

See also: Grand Korea Leisure casino sales up 6.9% in July

Wynn Palace remained the main growth driver during the quarter, posting operating revenue of US$653.4m.

Wynn Resorts' Macau operations reported over US$1bn in Q2 2026 revenue, a 13.7% year-on-year increase, primarily driven by strong performance at Wynn Palace and the premium mass segment.
