The Philippine regulator has given suppliers two additional months to complete accreditation requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation<\/strong> (PAGCOR) has extended the deadline for business-to-business (B2B) suppliers to complete accreditation under its new online gaming licensing framework. The date has been put back to September 30, giving companies more time to meet regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extension applies to B2B providers contracted by licensed Gaming System Administrators (GSAs) that submitted their accreditation applications by May 31, 2026. These companies will be allowed to continue operating while they complete the approval process beyond the now-expired previous deadline of July 31<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR said applicants must still complete all remaining requirements, including payment of the non-refundable application fee, submission of supporting documents and a probity check, facility inspections, technical testing of electronic gaming systems and online gaming platforms and the performance cash deposit. Companies that fail to meet the September 30 deadline will have their systems, platforms and gaming equipment decommissioned from October 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The regulator said the extension was granted after many applicants experienced delays in obtaining the necessary documents from government agencies. The accreditation process requires background checks, technical assessments and multiple compliance reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new framework is part of PAGCOR\u2019s effort to strengthen oversight<\/strong> of the country’s regulated online gaming industry by extending regulation beyond operators to include suppliers such as game developers, aggregators, payment providers, marketing companies, customer support services, KYC providers and independent testing laboratories. The initiative is intended to align the Philippines with regulatory practices adopted in mature online gaming markets.<\/p>\n\n\n
